There have been numerous crashes on Lawrence Road. Drivers (likely speeding or distracted or both) have swerved off the road and collided with parked cars and / or lost control and drove directly onto the property of residents. There too have been incidents where reckless and negligent drivers have hit pedestrians in the crosswalk.
